About me
I’ve been a writer and editor for over 25 years. For eleven of those I worked for Cruse Bereavement Support, for five of them as Communications and Content Manager. During my time at Cruse I worked on website articles, campaigns, annual reviews, responses to consultations, internal comms and more. I edited the journal Bereavement: journal of grief and responses to death for over four years (in 2012-2016 and again in as a freelancer in 2023-24).
Since I left Cruse in 2023 I’ve been working freelance to support organisations to help, connect with and communicate to bereaved customers. I’m also increasingly interested in how we think about and prepare for the end of life, both practically and emotionally.
I live with my family in Penarth, South Wales.
I’m a Welsh speaker. Dwi’n siarad Cymraeg.
